Hey Benny, I just would like to thank you personally for opening up an entire new door for drumming for me. You got me into playing more tastefully with stuff like displacing accents and mixing up your cymbals. So thank you so much for being as creative as you are. You are indeed on of my favorite drummers.
I’m from Novosibirsk, Russia and we are waiting to see your clinic here!) You’ve said that you are having an Asia tour, so we really want you to make a little ‘pitstop’ in novosibirsk)
Thank you for your drumming and music, good luck, best wishes,

Hey Benny! .-) sehr ! Bleib gesund und mach weiter soo! Cheers ! dein Fan!

Benny-Thank you so much again for the clinic in Nashville–my friend Rodney and I drove 8 hrs (one way!) just to be there. And it was worth every hour we spent on the road. Thanks for sharing your passion and humor and we hope you make it back over to the US for more clinics in the fall. One question I forgot to ask you the other night–”Were you inspired to do your GrebFruit cd–mostly by yourself as far as instuments go—as Stewart Copeland did with his “Klark Kent ” albums during the early Police days?? Since your clinic–I have been on a steady listening diet of Benny and Stewart!!! Thanks again for signing my copies of GrebFruit, Brass Band and 3erZimmer AND my Sand Ride!
Sincerely, Bill Fleming

Benny, It was amazing to see you at the MD Festival. I came from Texas to see the Festival. I have been going for many years and have many memories of great performances and amazing drummers. My friend, you now fall into that category. As far as I am concerned you stole the show. You are blessed with great talent. Now I will hunt you down and find you wherever you perform in the States! I hope you come to Texas. Thanks for a wonderful performance!
Michael
Benny,
Thanks for a great clinic in Nashville. I drove 300 miles one way to attend. The drive was well worth it. You are very funny, You told me I was from the deep South because of my accent.
Take Care!
My friend lend me your dvd as a “must see”. When he explained something about “chi” and “alphabets”, I thought that this guy must be a joke. After watching your dvd I must say my prejudice was very wrong. Awesome, creative and original. I Haven’t heard about you before. I’ve been playing drums for about 17 years, and during the latest years I’ve started slipping away from once so thrilling and fun hobby. My progress has been depressing. Not very long ago I’ve realized I’m facing a brick wall, mostly a mental one. I play, but everything comes from more like an empty shell, there’s no feeling. I won’t say that your dvd changed my life, but it certainly gave a fresh wind that I have been longing for quite some time now. You haven’t certainly lost your love for drumming, that’s one of the most influential factors in your dvd in my opinion. You still have the sparkle in your eye! As an educator, I must say your approach is also solid. The DVD was well thought through (everything in it, pictures, sound, composition, everything) Thank you very much and greetings from Finnish Lapland!
It was truly an honor to see you at the clinic last night in Nashville @ The French Quarter Cafe to show us how simple the groove can be! Your explanation and humor made the learning experience very enjoyable and easy to understand. I have always been a Sonor fan since the early Steve Smith days of Journey…..what a sound!!! Your kit sounded amazing acoustically. I can’t wait to get rid of my P&$rl kit and get a Sonor!!!!
Love your technique and approach to the groove. Simple yet powerful.
Thanks again from the ‘Whopper-Kraut’ !!!!
So, as you wrote All the Best on my poster, here you go!!
Ich wünsche Ihnen / Dir / Euch alles erdenklich Gute! (I looked it up….)
Nashville’s clinic was awesome. WHAT you said, and mostly HOW you said it, really touched me. Your knowledgeable yet humble presence, mixed with colorful/complex/fabulous grooves, inspired me so much. Thanks!!!

Hey Benny,
I wanted to thank you for a great clinic last night at the French Quarter Cafe in Nashville. I have enjoyed Grebfruit and your Language of Drumming DVD for some time now and thoroughly enjoyed your clinic last night. It was very fun and entertaining and still very educational with many great tips and suggestions. Your modest and unpretentious demeanor was extremely refreshing. You made a comment about Stewart Copeland being a drum hero of yours and turning out to be a cool guy that you were glad you invested in. After briefly meeting you last night I would feel comfortable saying the same thing today. Your drumming is first class and you seem to be a really cool guy. I pray you keep life in perspective and continue the great things you are already doing. Blessings to you. Thanks again, Jonathan
Just got home from the clinic in Nashville! Great performances and very inspirational. Your instruction was very helpful and insightful. Thanks for breaking down the moeller stroke. I had a couple of questions I meant to ask you during the meet and greet thing, but I forgot to. oh well. maybe next time!
again thanks for a great clinic!
Hey, I just saw you play at the French Quarter Cafe in Nashville and wanted to tell you that you did a really great job! Thanks for coming out and letting us hear you play! You also might look into a sidejob as a comedian. Haha, you where great! Thanks once again!
Just saw your Nashville clinic and am completely blown away. I’m not a drummer – I attended with my son, who is. We almost didn’t attend and that would have been a huge mistake. Your playing shows that any musical instrument is better when logic and and open mind are applied. Benny, you’re a genius! Awesome performance tonight!
Dear. Benny Greb,
My name is Kyuseung Kim, one of your great fans. I have been enjoying your shows and your great drum skills so far, and I am very excited about your visitation to Korea on 4th of July.
I make drums for living, but not in ordinary way of making other drums.
Drum that I have invented just got approved by copyrights.
There are no lugs attatched on my drum shell, which helps it a lot to provide better sound as drum.
It is quite different than “Free Floating System” that is made by Pearl company.
When I heard a news about your visitation, I was not only excited to see you, but I was also excited to show you my new drum that I just invented.
So I was afraid to ask you, if you would like to, I will be more than happy to show you this new drum that I have invented.
Please e-mail me back if you are interested.
If you are interested, I can also send you a picture of my drum that I explained above.
Thank you for taking your time reading through my message.
Hey Benny,
Thanks for coming to the Sam Ash in PA for the clinic. It was very awesome to hear about your views on drumming. You’ve inspired me a lot and really helped support the idea that it is good to be a “well-rounded drummer” and to play every possible genre that you can. Thank- you.
Benny Greb, thanks for Seminole Clinic. I was the guy in the front row with the glasses. Just wanted to thank you for the inspiration, that was priceless. I just wanted to know if there is anyway I can get any of your German releases in the US. Thanks Mr. Benny Greb.
Really enjoyed the Drum clinic you did at Donn Bennett Drum Studio’s in Bellevue, WA. You have a very unique style and your instruction and comments were wonderful. Your a good comedian as well. Love you DVD, really love how you break stuff down. Great interpretation. Keep it up and hope to see you playing in the Seattle area soon.
Benny,
My family saw you at the Huber and Breese clinic in Michigan this past Saturday. We had a great time-in fact, my son was the one you were yelling at to participate when you had us clapping a rhythm and saying “chit” on the quarter note. He thought that was great. Thanks for a great clinic!
Joe Migliaccio
Hello Benny,
I was at your clinic on May 5,2010 at the Sam Ash Store, in Springfield, NJ I am the bald headed guy with glasses who was sitting in the back row. I also was the one who I hope asked you some intelligent questions about your vies on music.
I just wanted to say that your clinic was very educational, uplifting, entertaining, and funny at moments.
I just want to say I am really enjoying your dvd-the language of drumming. I have not watched it all through yet but I will. It is filled with a lot of valuable concepts as well as humor. I really loved the intro in your apartment during breakfast. Very creative! I thought there was somthing wrong with the dvd because I wa looking for the play link that didn’t come up until abit later.
Anyway thank you for the great clinic and hope to see you again in new jersey some time in the future.
Benny- great show in NJ last night. You said a few things that made me look at my playing a little differently and are sure to stay with me for a while. Thanks for being so genuine and for a great show.
Ben! I saw you earlier at your Springfield, NJ clinic. Excellent playing, lots of humor, and really answered all the typical clinic questions very professionally. I was also glad to hear you rep vintage beech Sonors, coated heads on resonant sides, and using thin rides as crashes and rides, as these are all things that I’ve been doing for years that many people think is odd. Anyhow, thanks for coming!
Hey Benny! Just got back from the Sam Ash gig in Springfield NJ. It was awesome! Great performances and I learned a lot. Thanks for signing my DVD and for the pic I will see you at Modern Drummer very soon!!!
Thanks
Benny,
I was amazed by your clinic at the Sam Ash in Springfield New Jersey. Thank you so much for coming down and putting on such a great show!! I have watched the language of drumming dvd many times and it has definitely helped me along with the alphabet. My first drum teacher, Ryan Ross told me about you and since then i have been amazed at your skill. Keep up the great work and see you at Modern Drummer Festival on May 22!!!!
Well I am writing this for you to give you something to do in your hotel room like you said!!! haha Hey my name is Chris, we spoke briefly tonight, I just wanted to say I really loved your clinic you held at sam ash in nj tonight. You are not only an absolute genuis and innovator behind the drums, you are an awesome person as well. I was thinking on the way home, the part where you said how much you look up to steve gadd, thats the way I and many others look up to you. Your doing something really great and I really thank you so much for that. I look at your dvd like a drum bible haha! Anyways have a safe travels and I can’t wait to see you at the Modern Drummers Festival! P.S. I heard you are into hiking, and you might not believe this, but NJ has got some great hiking, and Montclair has some fun things to do. So if you need any help getting around feel free to email me! Anyways words can’t describe how great it was to see you perform tonight. Thanks again!
Benny,
I just wanted to thank you for the really great drum clinic you gave last night at Sam Ash Carle Place NY.
Not only is your technique outstanding but your approach to drumming and soloing is
something that needs a wider audience.
I also really appreciated your “Teutonic” sense of humor. :~)
hi benny
danke für den superduper workshop in der popakademie mannheim. ich übe fleissig das system. das hilft mir an allen ecken und enden;)

THE CLINIC AT C.A. HOUSE IN OHIO WAS SUPERB. THAT OSTINATO YOU DO WITH YOUR FEET WHERE THE LEFT FOOT ALTERNATES BETWEEN KICK AND HI-HAT IS PRETTY MUCH THE GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD. YOU RULE. THANK YOU FOR RULING. SORRY FOR YELLING BUT MY CAPS LOCK IS BROKEN.
I recently discovered you on Youtube. I now have a new favorite drummer.

Love you DVD, really love how you break stuff down. Great interpretation. Keep it up and hope to see you playing in the Seattle area soon.

May 7th, 2010 at 3:10 amMy family saw you at the Huber and Breese clinic in Michigan this past Saturday. We had a great time-in fact, my son was the one you were yelling at to participate when you had us clapping a rhythm and saying “chit” on the quarter note. He thought that was great. Thanks for a great clinic!

Vinnie
May 6th, 2010 at 6:50 pmBenny- great show in NJ last night. You said a few things that made me look at my playing a little differently and are sure to stay with me for a while. Thanks for being so genuine and for a great show.
May 6th, 2010 at 1:34 pmBen!

Anyways have a safe travels and I can’t wait to see you at the Modern Drummers Festival! P.S. May 6th, 2010 at 3:21 amBenny,
I just wanted to thank you for the really great drum clinic you gave last night at Sam Ash Carle Place NY.
Not only is your technique outstanding but your approach to drumming and soloing is
something that needs a wider audience.
I also really appreciated your “Teutonic” sense of humor. :~)
